The purview/extent of reading does not merely depend on the level of interest as explained above chapter but also on the time factor. Time availability can be classified into five categories namely No Time, Very Less Time, Less Time, Sufficient Time and Leisure Time. The combined impact of interest level and time factor (time availability) can be explained with the help of below hypothetical table.

v When there is no time, a reader does not and cannot ready anything irrespective of the level of interest, he/she possesses.
v When a reader has no interest in a write-up, he does not go through the write-up even if he possesses leisure time
v When a reader has higher level of interest and leisure time, he may not only go through the entire write-up but may go through the additional information given in the appendix and suggested reference books.
